Windows

Materials:
(2) Hinges
(?) Screws (for your hinges)
(1) Sheet of lexan or plexiglass big enough for your window.
(1) Piece of plywood big enough for your window.
(1) Liquid Nails
Instructions:
1. Cut a border frame for your window. The inside of the frame should be the height and width of your actual window. The border should be 1.5-2 inches thick.
2. Cut a piece of lexan or plexiglass to the same size as the border frame and secure the 2 together with Liquid Nails.
3. Cut another piece of lexan/plexiglass and another piece of plywood to about 2 inches in height and as wide as your window. This is what the top of your hinges wlil be screwed to and will act as a spacer so that the window will close flush with the wall of the blind.
4. Glue the pieces of lexan/plexiglass and plywood together with Liquid Nails and screw on the hinges.
5. Take the whole thing to your blind and screw it to the inside wall. You can use any method you like to hold the window open. I just use a screw on the window, a screw on the roof, and some string.
The nice thing about these deer blind window plans is that you can build the windows at your house/camp and haul them out to your blind and attach them before a hunt. The measurements don't have to be exact either. Better to make your windows to big than too small since the only problem you'll have if they are too big is a bit of overlap.
